Upcoming Events

Wednesday May 30th - Troop Meeting

We will have a Court of Honor from 7:00 - 8:30pm at Anchorage Pres.

This will be the last meeting of the Spring.  We'll resume regular meetings two weeks or so after school starts in the fall.

We may have one meeting after scout camp to accomplish Boards of Review for those boys who go to camp and anyone else who's ready.

All scouts should wear their uniforms and sashes displaying their merit badges to this meeting.

We will award all rank advancements and merit badges from this spring scouting semester at the Court of Honor.

New scouts who haven't filled out the Boy scout application forms yet should contact me so I can process you as a transfer into the Troop.

If your son isn't planning to join the Troop, please reply to me with that decision. If your son is on the fence, please let me know that as well.

You don't have to decide immediately but it helps us to know where you stand!

I will be available at 6:30pm to do Life and Star boards of review before this May 30th meeting.

Please contact me prior to the meeting if you'd like to do one.  So far I have Chris Roe scheduled.

If you need to do a board for a different rank, let me know since it takes longer and we'll meet at 6:00pm instead.

See you there!

~Tim Adams

Scout Camp - June 10 - 15th

Scout camp will be at Camp Crooked Creek near Bernheim Forest. This is the same location as always and about 45 minutes away.

Here is a link to the "Leaders Guide" for scout camp. Click within the quotes,

it will open a PDF,  then look on pages 12-17 for the classes.

The prerequisites for some of the advanced merit badge classes are listed on these pages as well.

As of know, this is the current list of Scouts attending camp.

If I have left anyone off or included anyone that has decided not to attend camp, please let me know ASAP.

I have also attached a spreadsheet showing the schedules for everyone at camp, click within the quotes, and it will open in Excel.

"Scout Schedule"

We will be going over final details for camp at the next Troop meeting on May 15th, but did want to nail down numbers and pay the fees prior to then.

Once I get a better count of the number of first year scouts coming, I will send out a roster for adult help during the week.

Right now it looks like I will need every family to help in an least 1 session during the week spread across both day and night times.

Thanks & please let me know if you have any questions.

~Jeff
